In TRABS (trabeculectomy) surgery, postoperative management is just as important as the surgery itself. Sometimes, sutures need to be released to optimize aqueous outflow. But if the IOP is well controlled, we do not remove the sutures unnecessarily. The decision is always guided by IOP, bleb function, and patient safety — not by routine.
