What is a Twiddle? 🤔 🪡 Twiddle mats (or muffs) are a knitted sensory item made by our fantastic volunteers at Project Twiddles. Sandra started Project Twiddles when her daughter Mya, an Emergency Physician at the RMH, and the nursing staff in the Acute Medical Unit, were searching for a solution to help calm distressed and restless elderly patients. Twiddle muffs have lots of different textures and items attached for patients to fiddle with, which helps sooth their minds. It’s also nice and wa
