Garvin Tynes Primary School held a special assembly to commemorate Majority Rule Day. The assembly, which was led by students from the 5th grade, gave the entire student body an opportunity to reflect upon some of the major events, such as the Burma Road Riot, which precipitated the Progressive Liberal Party’s (PLP) victory at the polls on January 10, 1967.
