🔍 Did you know Daikin’s journey into Europe began in Malta in 1966? 🌍 Richard Higgs, an enterprising Englishman with a home appliance store, discovered Daikin and established Daikin Airconditioning Corporation Ltd. in 1967. ✨ Within 3 years, the team expanded its sales network across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. To better serve the market, Daikin set up a production facility in Ostend, Belgium, in 1973, producing small-capacity packaged air conditioners and water-cooled chillers.
