So I did actually source these buttons online, (type in wooden craft buttons) but you may have some at home you can use. The key here is to use a pipe cleaner as it's brilliant at holding the buttons into their final circular formation. Once you have enough buttons loaded, push the pipe cleaner ends through to the alternate sides. Pull on each end so that you can tighten everything up, then snip the excess ends
