We finished! The brooder house conversion is done and we got 100 chicks moved in! We added a 14” shutter exhaust fan and two 12x12 vents. Ventilation is huge when it comes to keeping chicks healthy. Between heat lamps and chick fluff, things warm up fast in there. Good airflow keeps the air clean and helps with temp control.We also painted the inside with exterior paint and primer to seal the wood from moisture, ammonia, and all the mess that comes with raising chicks.
