How to Do a Back Tuck

💫 Skill Breakdown: Back Tuck 💫 doesn’t want to know how to do a back flip?? In gymnastics we call them back tucks, and here’s the breakdown: ✅ Start standing up straight with your arms tight by your ears and feet together ✅ Swing your arms down while bending your knees and leaning slightly forward - Think sitting in a chair! ✅ Jump up and slightly back, and pick a spot in front of you to look at for as long as possible while you jump back ✅ Bring your hips up and over while bending your knees

A great drill to improve the shape, position and speed of back tucks. Because this drill can be done on almost any trampoline, it makes for great "homework" for athletes that currently own their own in the back yard, or visit trampoline parks on the regular. External piece of equipment can make skills better, or worse. It's all in HOW you use it. If my athletes do 30 of these per day on their own and safely, it just makes my job of coaching their back tucks THAT much easier in the gym. | Addicte
