On March 13, 2017, during takeoff, the pilot of this Kazachok autogyro forgot to disengage the rotor drive. Once the wheels left the ground, there was no more friction to counter the reactive torque. This caused the aircraft to spin uncontrollably, accelerated further by the pusher propeller, leading to a complete loss of control and a dramatic flip.
