Answering difficult questions is a skill we're not taught and we're made to feel as if we need to answer them immediately. Don't underestimate the power of pausing, or even giving yourself a few moments to map out your thoughts before giving an answer. It's all in the way you frame it, and if done right, you come across as extremely thoughtful and diligent in your response.
