I was in AA meeting & someone’s story reminded me of the woman I was 6 years ago. It’s easy to be hard on myself & forget how far I’ve come. That girl would be in awe of the woman I’ve become. Giving up isn’t an option. Life doesn’t happen to me. It just unfolds & sometimes it’s unbearably painful, but there is so much beauty too. Never give up.
