Understanding Color Theory for Artists and Designers

Explaining how to use color theory! I use color theory a ton BUT wanted to break it down in case you weren't sure what it is. Color theory basically is about how colors compliment each other and work color together to create shadows and emotions and blending etc etc. for a theory green apple I want dimension with, I start with BLUE and RED not GREEN.
