The Weight Board Operator's job is to confirm the weight of the aircraft in order to pass the information on to the Launching Officer aka "Shooter" so they can properly set the CSV to determine the opening rate of the launch valves. Before launch, they receive a set of numbers from the Shooter with the anticipated weights of the aircraft.
