These expressive porcelain plates have been created by Attua Aparicio, the winner of the 2024 Ralph Saltzman Prize. As part of a limited edition, each plate is numbered and signed by the artist 💙 Attua undertook a design residency in 2019 in Jingdezhen, China, where porcelain production is a large part of the city’s infrastructure, but the rejects make up more than half of the city’s waste.
