Happy National Moth Week! Moths are one of many groups of insects that go through complete metamorphosis, meaning they go through 4 stages in their journey from egg to adult. Our sphinx moths start as tiny eggs, less than 2mm in diameter! After hatching, they eat as much as possible and grow to 70mm long.
