I used a touch of deep grey paint on the wood body to frame the beautiful drawers and table top. I then refinished the grain with a hardwax oil to really make it pop. You won’t believe how this looks now… I’d completely forgotten about this dressing table lurking in the back of my workshop so decided to give it a makeover. First I thoroughly cleaned it before sanding and stripping back the old finish. I then painted the frame in a soft taupe before using a hardwax oil on the drawers and table top to really bring out the grain.
