In archival footage, Frank Lloyd Wright explains the intention behind Fallingwater as an architecture conceived from the site rather than placed upon it. Rather than orienting the house toward the waterfall as a view, Wright positioned the structure directly over it, integrating sound, movement, and geology into daily life. The project rejects separation between building and landscape. Structure, cantilever, and material are deployed to anchor human habitation within the natural system, allowing
