Windchill is real and is measurable and predictable. It is not a way to make places sound colder than they are. Essentially wind chill drops the temperature of anything exposed faster but it will not drop it below the real temp. The affect on us is that it’s much harder to keep our core temps up with wind chill. Any insulation we have is rendered useless when a wind blows through it. It cools all that precious warm air that was stored plus when it hits our skin it cools our skin much faster. The
