So there’s this concept in the stuttering community called “acceptance of stuttering”. In the video I talk a bit more about this and what it means. it’s ok to accept your stutter but not feel ready to openly stutter, you’re allowed to use avoidance techniques (while it’s not recommended, it happens, and as someone who went to speech therapy for many years, I still avoid situations and word swap), it’s okay to not want to advertise your stutter all the time. *also don’t mind the little caption ty
