The Walleye Life Cycle: Spawning The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission raises Walleye to stock millions of fry and fingerlings across the state each year. After brood stock are harvested from Pymatuning Sanctuary, PFBC staff collect eggs from female Walleye and milt from males. Once the eggs are fertilized, they incubate for 18 days.
