We have had the most luck hunting for pythons at night with flashlights. We cruise the dykes in our Ram 1500 using our brights and flashlights to scan for pythons. The Everglades are overrun by this non-native invasive predator. Scientists estimate there are over 150,000 Burmese pythons in the Everglades as of 2024, and they have killed off 98% of all fur-bearing creatures in the ecosystem.
