The Royal Tank Regiment’s AJAX Squadron have been out on Salisbury Plain Training Area in their Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks, sporting the ‘Berlin Camo’. The Cold War-era Berlin Brigade urban camouflage dates back to 1982, designed by the Officer Commanding the 4/7 Royal Dragoon Guards tank squadron to disguise the shape of a tank in the city.
