GitHubは2月4日（現地時間）、Visual Studioで利用できるGitHub Copilotの1月アップデートを公開した。 今回のアップデートでは、コード補完時に構文のハイライトを適用する「カラー化コード補完」が追加され、変数や関数などの要素が視覚的に識別しやすくなった。設定からカラー化したテキストの利用を選択できる。

新方針では、iOSおよびiPadOSアプリはiOS 26およびiPadOS 26以上のSDKでビルドする必要がある。また、tvOSアプリはtvOS 26以降、visionOSアプリはvisionOS 26以降、watchOSアプリはwatchOS 26以降のSDKでビルドが必須となる。同社は、最新SDKへの対応により最新機能とセキュリティの向上を図る方針を示している。
