米Microsoft傘下のMojangは2月18日（日本時間）、Java版「Minecraft」のレンダラー（描画システム）を「OpenGL」から「Vulkan」へ移行する計画を発表した。夏頃にスナップショットとして「Vulkan」をテスト導入するという。
