今回の調査では、新規店舗を探す際に、約64%が「毎回またはほとんどの場合」でGoogleマップを利用していることが明らかになりました。一方で、情報不備が原因で3人に1人が競合店舗へ流れているという実態も判明しており、Googleマップ上の情報整備が地域集客の明暗を分ける時代と言っても過言ではありません。

2026年2月14日頃から、Googleアカウントへサインインしていない場合にGoogleマップで「制限付きビュー」が起動するとの報告が相次ぎました。このモードでは他のユーザーがアップロードした写真等が閲覧できないようです。
