東京都とNTT東日本が進める“公衆電話ボックスを活用したフリーWi-Fi設備”の第一号が、運用開始にあたってメディアに公開されました。両者は2025年8月に、「公衆電話ボックスを活用したOpenRoaming対応Wi-Fiの整備・普及啓発等に関する基本協定」を締結していて、現在、都内にある公衆電話ボックスへの設備の設置が進められています。
