ASUS JAPANは3月3日、「ASUS: Beyond Vision ― 4Kのその先へ 5Kゲーミングモニター＆最新OLED体験会 ―」を開催した。‟Beyond Vision”には、「現在のモニター技術の限界や、4Kという既存のスタンダードを打ち破り、その先へとつき進む」といったメッセージが込められているという。
ASUSよりゲーミングモニター“ROG Strix 5K XG27JCG”が発売。5K（5120×2880）の高解像度と最大180Hzの高リフレッシュレートを両立。27インチFast IPSパネルを採用し、0.3msの高速応答とVESA DisplayHDR 600対応により、緻密な映像表現と滑らかな動きを実現。詳細は後日発表予定。
