In many applications, 32-bit resolution is required to measure external signals with long periods (up to several hundreds of seconds), or to generate delays or periodic signals with similar periods.
Some games and latency sensitive apps benefit from lowering the windows timer resolution (down to 0.5–1 ms). Currently, ghelper does not expose any option to adjust or apply timer resolution settings.
